Following extensive feedback from the market, the R&D teams and clients or prospects, BI-SAM has invested a lot of time and effort in the development of the new B-ONE platform, a single platform managing reporting, performance calculation and performance attribution.

A Single Platform
B-ONE centralises the various BI-SAM Suites’ functionalities. B-ONE provides a re-looked single interface which provides simple direct access to all of the necessary functions (data management, execution of total return, equities/ balanced and fixed income calculations, results analysis etc. ).

Data Organisation
B-ONE was developed to allow access within the same application to all financial objects needed for reporting and performance calculations (portfolios, instruments, indices, benchmarks, currencies, classifications, etc.). An advanced user-friendly module, B-ONE allows the customised access administration to the various available functionalities according to roles as well as user defined views of the data for each user or group of users (according to fund, asset class etc.). B-ONE responds to the different needs of all parties involved in reporting and performance calculations, data administration for reporting teams, and even fund managers and analysts.

Data Controls
B-ONE assures total control on the static and dynamic data needed for reporting and performance calculations through the general audit trails on calculations and data modifications.With this new version, BI-SAM allows current and future clients to regroup within the same application all the reporting, performance and attribution calculations management processes. On a wider scale, this project forms a strategic part of BI-SAM’s global « road map » of workflow processes management with the planned release in the second semester 2006 of a Process Workflow Management tool.
